Single-use plastic cups, plates banned from govt offices in Kerala?

The Kerala government had banned the manufacture, sale, storage and transportation of single use plastic.

As per the rules, there is a ban on the use of single-use plastic products such as paper cups, plates and plastic coated cups for the distribution of food and drinks. Instead, washable utensils made of steel, glass and ceramic materials should be used for the purpose.
