Cyclone Biporjoy: Kutch and Saurashtra in Gujarat are on red alert as the cyclone to make a massive impact today

According to IMD, Cyclone Biparjoy is heading towards the Gujarat, Mumbai coastline; landfall is expected between 4 and 8 p.m. today.
The Gujarat government evacuated more than 74,000 people from eight coastal districts, including 35,822 along the coast of Kutch district, issued prohibitory orders, shut down public transport and advised people to stay inside as Cyclone Biparjoy is expected to make landfall in Gujarat at 5 p.m. today.
The storm in Gujarat and Mumbai intensifies as cyclone Biparjoy heads to land on the coasts of the two states. The cyclone will be through by tonight, and its effects will significantly subside by June 16, IMD DG Mrutyunjay Mohapatra told Times Now. A red alert has been issued in seven districts of Gujarat. So far, over 74,000 people have been evacuated to safe zones. Seventy-six trains have been cancelled, and 36 trains have been short-terminated.
